Why Google is cool, Part 1241

Do a google search for a FedEx tracking number, and Google figures out that this is what it is and sends you directly to Fedex. Cool. Technorati Tags: fedex

Blogging is “essential” to a good career

Boy, blogs sure are hot, aren’t they? I’ve been noticing the New York Times regularly quoting bloggers as legitimate sources side by side with witnesses, experts, politicians. And now the [Boston Globe has a bit](http://bostonworks.boston.com/news/articles/2006/04/16/blogs_essential_to_a_good_ca...

Agenda for OPML Camp coming together

Adam’s been busy moving the plans for OPML Camp forward. Looks like it’s going to be interesting! If you haven’t checked it out  yet, you might consider taking a look at the site. Mac users: is this new?

Apple just shipped 10.4.6, the latest revision to the OS X. This may be old, but I never noticed that the blue Spotlight menu icon in the top right of the screen has a little pulsing dot in the middle of the magnifying glass, presumably to tell me that it was busy indexing stuff, presumably explaining why my computer is running a little hard right now. Is it a new little touch or has it **always been there? ** Technorati Tags: osx

[GEEK] Interesting OS X article

Ever wonder how Mac’s OS X program launch and execution works? No? Hmm. Anyway, here’s a fascinating article telling you more than you ever thought you wanted to know! > “As you can see, executing a process in OS X is a complex affair, and I have tried to cover as much as is necessary for a useful debugging session.” (fromHow OS X Executes Applications”) 🙂 Technorati Tags: osx
